Sounds like a really fascinating mechanic to work with that has the potential to become extremely frustrating. I too cannot work out these kinds of logic puzzles, minesweeper and sudoku have always left me cold so I probably won’t pick this game up, unlike you I don’t enjoy making myself feel stupider than I usually do, haha.
That being said it looks really cute and fun for the right person, in the ‘A Little To The Left’ kind of vein of games that scratch the brain itch of people who like figuring things out. Could never be me but I hope the game is successful!
Fab read as always, fascinating to get inside your mind for a few hundred words! I'm absolutely with you on puzzles, I wish I was good at them but I'm also missing the part of my brain that gets that reward. I honestly get more of a reward feeling from just finding out the answer and moving on, not doing it myself.
Review bombing is a new thing to me so I'll be off down that rabbit hole. I can sort of guess what it is though, but fail to see why this game. Maybe that's a good thing.
I have to stop myself buying puzzle games for very similar reasons to you. Love the look, and would totally love to be able to get through them unaided and not massively frustrated, but I always end up searching out a walkthrough. Gorogora was, I think, the one that finally told me to look in another direction; such a very beautiful game, and I wanted to see all the facets of it, but I needed quite a lot of help. I still sometimes look at the prettier puzzle games and think this time it might be different. It's not.
Nice review - honest, but still pays the game its dues. I loved the demo and the overall concept, so I'm a big fan. I didn't realise the review bombing was that serious.

I actually still love Minesweeper and Sudoku but am terrible at them 😭
Enjoyed that. Thanks! The puzzles are my favourite part of Zelda so I may give this a try!
Ooh yeah they definitely have a bit of a Zelda feel to them. I hope you enjoy!

I wish I was good enough to do this in just a few hundred words haha it's nearly 2000 😭

Yeah it's when a group of people decide they don't like a game and leave excessive numbers of fake negative reviews. So pointless.

Yeah I think someone who isn't me would rate this game at an easy 9 or 10 out of ten honestly.
