It sounds to me like the kind of gaming experience people who don’t enjoy souls-like or metroidvania games think they’re like. Really fun if you’re the right person in the right frame of mind!

Never saw the appeal of the game myself, but we need more of these kind of write-ups on games, gives a more realistic, grounded view!
